There’s “a lot of speculation” about who might replace Victorian Governor Linda Dessau, who is set to step down from her position by the end of June, says Sky News host Peta Credlin.

“A lot of people in the mix – Marilyn Warren, former Chief Justice of the Victorian Supreme Court, another Melbourne luminary, Janet Whiting,” Ms Credlin said.

“She’s refused of course, to comment on the speculation, but the Herald Sun points out today – considering how close Capp is with Lindsay Fox and how close Fox is Daniel Andrews – the Herald Sun reckons she’s the top contender.”
