Sam Allardyce is set for a dramatic return to Premier League management as Leeds United’s new boss LUFC
Former Bolton, England and Everton manager Allardyce is expected to take over at Leeds until the end of the season‘ fourth head coach of the season after Jesse Marsch and temporary appointment Michael Skubala.
Tony Pulis, 65, and former United star Lee Bowyer, have also been considered as a caretaker options for Leeds.Former Stoke manager Pulis’ last role was as Sheffield Wednesday boss, which only lasted a month in 2020. But it appears as though Allardyce is the man to be tasked with trying to keep Leeds in the top-flight.His last role was at West Brom, when he was appointed midway through the season but was unable to rescue them from the drop – the first time he has suffered relegation from the Premier League.Leeds have endured a woeful run of form and are sitting 17th in the table – level on points with 18th-place Nottingham Forest.
