A baby loss support charity has launched a £50,000 Tree Of Life campaign to plant a memorial tree in the grounds of a newborn centre at a hospital in remembrance of babies who have died.

Briony Aston, wife of Coronation Street star Sam Aston, and a yoga teacher from Rossendale, has recently spoken out about her baby losses in the national media and is a supporter of the Tree of Life campaign. Briony said: “I will be taking part in Friends of Serenity’s Tree Pose Challenge to bring awareness to the campaign.
“We are delighted to launch our Tree of Life campaign to fundraise for a much-needed place to remember the lives of our babies who have gone before us, no matter how long ago and we hope for the tree to represent a place of comfort.”
