Sam Byram, a 31-year-old Leeds United academy graduate, expresses his desire to remain with the club beyond the summer, acknowledging that his future depends on various factors. Byram, who recently celebrated his 200th appearance for Leeds, has one year remaining on his contract. He emphasizes his commitment to helping Leeds secure promotion to the Premier League and views it as a career highlight.
Sam Byram says he would “love” to stay at Leeds United beyond the summer but has conceded that his future does not entirely rest in his own hands.
"Obviously, I'd love to stay here," he told BBC Radio Leeds. "But it's not always in the control of the player. For this season my aim is to get Leeds promoted and whatever comes after that will come.” “For me, if we were to do that, I can't think of anything in my career that I would have done that could top that."
