TERRIFIED TV star Sam Thompson confronted Michael McIntyre with a knife when he mistook the comedian’s late-night prank for a burglary.
A source said: “A family member was in on the joke and passed house keys to production. But when crew arrived they found the bedroom locked. "Sam then came out with a knife. It was shocking. He said: “So I get all the way to the door and it’s locked. I can’t get in. Then I can hear them freaking out because they start to get a sense there’s people outside their bedroom.“And actually, it’s not in the show and I probably shouldn’t be saying it but – you know, he had a weapon.” He joked: “Yes, there was a weapon – I could have died that night on the Midnight Gameshow at the hands of Sam Thompson.”Double Take
