Sam Thompson has said he was 'welling up' after re-listing to Pete Wick's comments about his Strictly Come Dancing partner as his plea to his best mate ahead of his first live performance was uncovered.

In a new video shared to Instagram, the former Made in Chelsea star could be seen excitedly on the phone to his pal on the morning of the first live show.
"There was only one way we were starting this process….STRONG," Sam captioned the video which quickly left those watching in hysterics. Meanwhile, Sam has taken to social media to admit he was left 'welling up' when Pete shared some kind words about Jowita during their latest podcast episode.
