South Texas can look forward to another day of clear blue skies and sunshine, but this time we’ll enjoy comfortable temperatures that will reach at least 80 degrees, forecasters said. San Antonio metro area temperatures on Thursday will be at their lowest just before dawn, sinking into the low 50s, before making a nearly 30-degree climb to the low 80s under sunny skies by the middle of the afternoon.
“This pattern will bring southerly flow back to South-Central Texas, which will lead to a day-to-day warming trend along with increasing cloudiness this weekend into early next week,” the weather service said. Forecasters also warned that parts of South Texas “could see a brief period of elevated fire weather conditions in the west on Friday with low humidity and breezy southerly flow, otherwise expect increasing humidity as well through the weekend.
