A San Antonio man has been sentenced to 35 years in prison in the brutal stabbing in 2015 of a single mom on the Southeast Side of San Antonio . Isaac Jeremaih Estrada was 19 and a fugitive on the run for eight years after San Antonio police found the body of 23-year-old Courtney Phillips on April 5, 2015. She had been stabbed in the neck and died at a home in the 200 block of Edge Avenue .

In October 2015, his case was elevated to major case status with the U.S. Marshals Service. The case also was featured on the Discovery TV Show 'In Pursuit with John Walsh.
