Sichuan House is joining the ranks of San Antonio restaurants graced with a visit from the mayor of Flavortown on 'Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives.' Culinary star Guy Fieri chowed down at Julia's Bistro & Bar and The Jerk Shack for this season, wowed by French toast and 'killer Caribbean' eats. A third Alamo City restaurant slated for the show was shrouded in mystery until Monday, when Sichuan House posted photos of Fieri's signature red convertible parked outside.

'He loved the fact that all of our dishes were made from scratch to order,' Galvan said. 'It’s really humbling when you meet someone that is so respected and they having nothing but praise about the restaurant.
