A suspicious death investigation was launched after the body was discovered on Mount Albertine Avenue
San Diego police have opened a suspicious death investigation after the decomposed body of a woman was found inside a Clairemont home early Tuesday, officials said.
Officers were unable to determine what injuries the woman may have because of the level of decomposition and the “positioning” of her body, police Lt. Steve Shebloski said in a news release. Two men in their 30s were detained, one of whom made the 911 call to summon police to the house. Police are still trying to determine his relationship with the dead woman.
Police had been called to the home several months ago, but it was not known if it was related to the death of the woman, Shebloski said.
