One officer is killed , while the other is criticall injured.
A man was killed Wednesday night in East Oakland after two cars that both failed to stop at a stop sign collided, police said. SAN JOSE — A driver allegedly under the influence struck two San Jose police community service officers, killing one, and critically injuring another.
The driver, suspected of driving under the influence, has been arrested. The other officer remains hospitalized with major injuries.
