San Marcos police have arrested a Seguin man in connection with a July 14 fatal hit-and-run crash on Interstate 35. Emmanuel Nicholas Martinez , 35, turned himself in to police Wednesday, according to city spokesperson Nadine Bonewitz . Martinez faces charges of intoxication manslaughter with a vehicle and collision involving death. His bail was set at $50,000 on each charge, Bonewitz said in an email.
Comal County man accused of stabbing his father to death Martinez was arrested in connection with a July 14 crash on I-35, near Exit 208 in San Marcos. The crash occurred when a white Toyota Sienna minivan struck a black SUV, causing it to overturn, San Marcos police said in a social media post earlier this month. There were five people in the SUV, and one of the passengers was ejected in the crash, police said in the post. She was pronounced dead at a hospital in Kyle, police said.
