A sanctuary has described the ‘ticking time bomb’ of having mere months to find a new home for dozens of animals. The Pennine Animal Welfare Society (PAWS) in West Yorkshire has been given notice by their landlord to vacate their current site by February.

PAWS has been in existence since 2007 and operates within the Calder Valley, Rochdale, Burnley and Halifax areas offering a second chance to unwanted cats andThey’ve received an influx of animals as a result of the living cost crisis, so much so that they’re in the process of launching a foodbank for pets.
