The Grammy winning multihyphenate, 56 — whose three adult daughters recently opened up about their dating problems — revealed on Wednesday that he keeps in touch with the 59-year-old actress.He told People they 'still keep in touch' and that 'just meeting Sandy, getting to know her' was his favorite part of filming.In the 1998 film, Bullock and Connick played lovers that find their way to each other after her character suffers a devastating heartbreak.
'She's a very special person,' he went on about the actress. 'I loved doing that movie with her and I loved everything about it, but coming away from that with her as a friend was definitely my favorite part.' In 2018, the father-of-three recalled the moment Sandra, who co-produced the film, told him he would play her counterpart in Hope Floats.
