Sandro Marcos, son of presidential candidate Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. has credited his uncle, House Majority Leader and Leyte 1st District Rep. Martin Romualdez for his “skills and readiness” to be Ilocos Norte representative. READ:
“Higit sa lahat, dinala ko rin ang aking amo, ang aking boss, si House Majority Floor Leader Martin Romualdez,” said Sandro Marcos as he acknowledged guests and officials at his political rally.
“Dalawang taon po akong nagtrabaho sa kanyang opisina sa Kongreso at siya ang dahilan kung bakit handang-handa na po akong maging congressman,” Marcos continued. During a gathering early this month to celebrate his birthday, Marcos also acknowledged the support and training he received from Romualdez.
“Lahat po ng natutunan ko sa Kongreso ay dahil sa kaniya. Ako po ay nagpapasalamat na nandito siya ngayon,” Marcos said of Romualdez who was present during the event.
