QUARANTINE rules for aeroplane passengers who are 'pinged' as a result of someone on their flight testing positive will no longer automatically face self-isolation after August 16. However, there are some key rules passengers must still follow.
According to travel expert Simon Calder, from August 16 onwards, anyone who travels on a flight where a positive case of coronavirus is detected will be asked to go and take a PCR test, but won’t necessarily have to self-isolate.
