VICE President-elect and Education chief-designate Sara Duterte-Carpio is targeting the resumption of full face-to-face classes in the next school year.Outgoing Education Secretary Leonor Briones earlier said that the Department of Education wants all schools to open for physical classes for School Year 2022-2023.
In a press briefing on Monday, Duterte-Carpio said that she will be meeting with DepEd officials on Saturday, June 25, for their first face-to-face transition meeting.'Nakailang exchange of written communications na kami ni Secretary [Leonor] Briones and the initial face-to-face will be on June 25. But before that mayroon na kaming mga arrangements na nagawa ,' she added.
