VICE PRESIDENT Sara Duterte-Carpio, Senator Raffy Tulfo and former vice president Leni Robredo were picked as the top personalities to succeed President Ferdinand Marcos Jr., a survey conducted by the Social Weather Stations (SWS) showed.

The poll was held from April 15 to 18.Twenty-eight percent of the respondents picked Duterte, 11 percent were for Tulfo, six percent chose Robredo, three percent were for former president Rodrigo Duterte and two percent for former senator Manny Pacquiao.

Also included in the list were senators Robin Padilla and Imee Marcos and former Manila mayor Isko Moreno, who all garnered 1 percent.The law bars a sitting president from seeking a second term. The country will hold its next presidential election in 2028.
