ICYMI: Now a liquor brand “model” aside from being a social media sensation, Sassa Gurl bared that she really wanted to be a comedienne. | via onenewsph

Screenshot of Sassa Gurl’s video about two students who are called to the guidance counselor’s office because of school violations now has 9.4 million views since it was posted on TikTok on Nov. 24, 2021.

Sassa Gurl, whose real name is Felix Petate, could not believe it. She admitted she felt scared at first since it was unusual for a gay like her to be a model for a liquor brand that would normally tap sexy women as endorsers, so she was really happy with the warm welcome she received when the calendars featuring her were launched.Sassa Gurl was a graduate of the Far Eastern University with a degree in Communication in 2019.

One of her most recent posts on TikTok was apparently about the recent pronouncement of vice presidential aspirant Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio that she would push for mandatory military service for Filipinos 18 years old and above, include disaster-preparedness training, if elected. According to Sassa Gurl, she really wanted to be a comedian or entertainer but didn’t know when and how to start until she realized that she could use the internet where everyone could post. “I really pushed myself,” she said in a mix of English and Filipino during a recent online interview, adding she was one of those wanting to get attention on social media.
