The photographs have emerged amid speculation about the health of the dictator, who was last seen in public on 11 April.
The officials are also sceptical of media reports claiming the dictator had some kind of serious illness.
Kim's seaside compound in Wonsan, on the country's east coast, is dotted with guest villas and serviced by a private beach, basketball court, and private train station, according to experts and satellite imagery. Michael Madden, a North Korea leadership expert at the US-based Stimson Center, said:"It's one of his favourite houses."A train believed to belong to Kim Jong Un has also been photographed in Wonsan. Mr Madden said Kim is believed to have about 13 significant compounds around the country, though he appears to only regularly use about half of them.
