On this week’s show, the long-time hosts went undercover at a Premier Inn inBut there was one standout victim, a man called Earnest, whose reactions have left audiences calling for him to not only be given his own TV show, but a knighthood too.Instead of being met by a receptionist, the holidaymakers had to approach a machine, with what they thought was an automated voice checking them in, but turned out to be the boys.to see how far they could drag out the prank.
Some customers were told to ‘speed up’ when sharing their booking reference and got buzzed if they weren’t quick enough, while others then had to stand in front of a microphone to record a message for the hotel’s apparent voice recognition system.But when it came to a man named Ernest checking in, things took a turn.
However, playing around with what was in front of him quickly lead to a bit of a problem after he managed to break the microphone and was reprimanded by the AI receptionist.
