The annual event is designed to showcase the town’s diverse dining options, featuring exclusive prix fixe menus, seasonal specials and signature food experiences at participating restaurants, cafés, breweries and specialty food businesses. Organizers say the festival also helps support local businesses during the slower shoulder season. The celebration kicks off with the Savour Sidney Gala Launch Party on March 12 at the Shaw Centre for the Salish Sea. The opening-night event will include chef-created tastings, local beverages, live entertainment and a silent auction featuring locally sourced prizes and experiences.From casual eateries to fine dining, Savour Sidney aims to highlight what makes the community a dining destination. Restaurants and food businesses can take part by offering prix fixe menus at set price tiers ranging from $15 to $75, contributing to gift baskets, joining the gala as vendors, or partnering as sponsors. Business registration closes March 1.
