Martin Lewis fans previously shared their best tips ahead of an episode of his Money Show Live on ITV last year. Taking to social media, followers of the financial expert responded to a request from Lewis on X asking to share their best energy saving tips - which was flooded with responses. Among the many comments Lewis' Tweet prompted, user Deane suggested: "After I have done a load of washing I always put the load on an extra spin to get more water out of the clothes, which will be quicker to dry then."
