Skiers hit the slopes in swimwear for bizarre annual festival

NOTHING says spring quite like the sight of skiers donning scanty swimmers as they bomb down the slopes in the sunshine.

And nowhere does this quite like the annual Grelka festival in Siberia, where today more than 1,500 skiers and snowboarders marked the end of the winter with a dramatic change of gear.Pole position...

Wearing brightly-coloured bikinis and swimmers, the region of Kermerovo region burst into a hive of activity as happy punters made their way down in a near naked cohort.It's the seventh consecutive year participants have enjoyed the Grelka Fest, held in the first weekend of April in southern Siberia.
