The follow-up film isn't coming together as quickly as fans would hope.
An adaptation of the cult-classic book series Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark landed in theaters back in 2019, and despite there being a wealth of source material to inspire follow-up films, writers Dan and Kevin Hageman have confirmed that the project is seemingly"stalled" and that they're just as"in the dark" as audiences are.
Kevin continued,"No, we can't get into it, but we wrote something, and that's the last we know. We know a lot of people liked it, but we also know that nothing's happening right now. We're in the dark with you guys."
