The team at Foxlake, just outside Dunbar, has introduced the “HotFox” Finnish-style sauna with a cold plunge, offering the region a fresh getaway featuring two distinctive experiences.
A popular outdoor adventure park in East Lothian has introduced a new sauna designed to beat Scotland's rainy-day blues.
The spacious sauna is heated by a wood fire stove and maintains a cozy temperature of 70-90 degrees and can accommodate eight to 10 people. With the launch, Foxlake hopes to create a contemporary "third place"—a space outside the home where people can gather, relax, and form new connections within the community.
Alternatively, the Fire, Ice, and Yoga sessions, offered in partnership with East Linton’s The Yoga Den, provide a blend of breath work-focused yoga, sauna time, and wild swimming. Held every Friday and Sunday evening, the two-hour sessions include two back-to-back classes, starting from 5:00 PM.
