Brad Schneider helped the village of Buffalo Grove get a $171,400 federal grant that village leaders said March 25, 2024 will be used to buy upgraded communications equipment that will go inside the new Public Works Department facility.Congressional leaders have helped the village of Buffalo Grove get more than $170,000 in federal funds officials say will be used to buy upgraded equipment for the emergency operations center.
“I am proud to have secured this funding of $171,000 to upgrade Buffalo Grove’s emergency operations center with communication technologies that will enable first responders to more swiftly react to emergencies,” Schneider stated in the release.
