Eyewitnesses have reported a water burst on a main road
People have reported waking up without water in a Greater Manchester town, with at least one school closed as a result. Several residents in Heywood are either without water or with low water pressure this morning .
Hopwood Community Primary School, on Magdala Street, has been forced to close due to having no water supply. The Tree House Cafe at Hopwood Park has also closed its doors due to the issue.
