The Prince and Princess of Wales have always been keen for their children to have as normal a school experience as possible - but there was one special exception that made Prince George and Princess Charlotte stand out from their peers.
This meant that they were both attending the school during the pandemic. Like all educational institutions, Thomas's implemented several Covid-19 safety measures to protect its students and staff and minimise the risk of virus transmission. In an article for Vanity Fair, she wrote: "According to one parent, the school has installed numerous Covid prevention measures and parents now have to drop children at the school gates. The Waleses, however, are still able to drive their children into the school grounds.", reports the Mirror.
Interestingly, the three royal children, who are in Year 6, Year 4, and Year 1 respectively, are not referred to by their royal titles at school. Instead, they are known simply as George Wales, Charlotte Wales, and Louis Wales among their school friends, reflecting their parents' titles, the Prince and Princess of Wales, which were bestowed upon them following Queen Elizabeth II's death in September 2022.
