The driver of the car was not injured following the crash
A schoolboy is fighting for his life after being hit by car. Emergency services were called to Wrexham Road, Chester at 5.12pm on Tuesday, November 12. It followed a report of a crash between a grey Nissan Qashqai and a pedestrian. The pedestrian, an 11-year-old boy, suffered serious injuries and was treated at the scene before being taken to Alder Hey Children's Hospital for further treatment. Cheshire Police said his injuries are thought to be life-threatening and he remains in hospital.
As part of ongoing enquiries, officers are now appealing for witnesses or anyone with information or CCTV footage to come forward. Inspector Anton Sullivan, of the Constabulary's Roads and Crime Unit, said: 'I understand that this is a considerably distressing incident and our thoughts remain with the victim’s family.
