A schoolgirl was taken to hospital after being hit by a car. Merseyside Police were called to Queens Drive in Mossley Drive today, Tuesday, September 9 at 7.50am. It followed a report of a collision involving a Renault Captur and an 11 year-old girl. North West Ambulance Service were also called to the scene and the girl was taken to hospital - the extent of her injuries are currently unknown. Police said the driver of the car stopped at the scene and enquiries remain ongoing.
