A SCHOOLGIRL died after taking an overdose of prescription painkillers she found on her gran’s coffee table.
Kaitlin who attended Unity College in the town had been in poor health despite there being no trace of disease or viral infection, a Burnley inquest heard. Kaitlin's dad Jason Clegg said: “She came to stay with me on Saturday, September 9, and I don’t remember her complaining about any illness or not feeling so good. She was just her usual self.
“I sat up with her until about 4am. It’s possible that she got up in the night, but she was in a lot of pain and was struggling to get up.
