Her heartbroken mother, Rachel Halliwell, told an inquest that Semina had been a 'happy little girl' but began to self-harm after starting at Stanley High School. She felt unsupported by the police, social services, and her school. After the allegation, she endured emotional and physical bullying at school.
A SCHOOLGIRL who took a fatal overdose after making a rape claim shared heartbreaking final social media posts about wanting to be "happy", an inquest heard.Just minutes before the tragedy, Semima shared two final posts on social media about "wanting to be happy again", the inquest at Bootle Town Hall heard.
Ms Halliwell told the inquest Semina was not supported enough by the police, social services or her school.After the 12-year-old made an allegation of sexual assault, her mum said she endured emotional and even physical bullying at school.She was due to be interviewed by police in June, the inquest was told.
Before taking a fatal overdose, Semina was downstairs in her home with police, to review CCTV footage.
