A girl shed tears of happiness after the Princess of Wales invited her to pay her tribute to the Queen. Thousands of people had gathered at the gates of the late monarch’s estate in Sandringham, Norfolk, to meet Prince William and his wife Kate Middleton., with her classmates to the royal residence. In a touching gesture, Kate approached the eight-year-old, asking her to accompany her to place a corgi teddy and a bouquet of flowers among the tributes.The student at Howard Junior in King’s Lynn said later she felt ‘very happy’ to be chosen.The students from Howard Junior School in King’s Lynn all turned up at Sandringham to pay their respects to the late Queen Our 8 year old Elizabeth the day after she went the Prince and Princess of Wales…..she will never forget the kindness shown to her…..
