Longridge High School and St Cecila's RC High School are closed due to the fire while Shay Lane remains closed in both directions
Two schools in Longridge have been forced to shut today following a devastating fire at Butlers Farmhouse Cheeses.
Butlers Farmhouse Cheeses confirmed the huge blaze involved its office and packing site and no injuries were reported. Shay Lane remains closed in both directions and residents in the area were told to keep windows and doors closed and 'avoid the area'.Longridge High School and St Cecila's RC High School in Longridge confirmed they are now closed today due to the fire.
