Scientists identify new 'Deltacron' Covid strain in 25 patients that combines elements of Delta and Omicron variants

Of the 25 Delatcron cases, 11 were in patients already hospitalised with Covid. Scientists say it is not yet known if it is a more contagious or dangerous strain. Experts had warned of a hybrid variant that could be worse than Omicron.
