Scots are encouraged to enjoy their festive celebrations responsibly this holiday season
As the festive season approaches, celebrations across Scotland are in full swing. To encourage mindful enjoyment, the Scotch Whisky Association continues its impactful ‘Made to Be Measured’ campaign, a reminder for everyone to savour Scotland’s national drink responsibly and be mindful of the Chief Medical Officers’ guidelines.
By making informed choices, we can all keep track of our alcohol intake and enjoy a more balanced festive season. Mark Kent, CEO of the SWA, explains: “Christmas is a time for a bit of indulgence, when we can spend time with friends and family and enjoy ourselves. But that indulgence shouldn’t mean excessive alcohol consumption.
“The Made to be Measured campaign will continue to inform people across Scotland in the lead up to Christmas about the Chief Medical Officer guidelines and encourage them to track what they drink, particularly when consuming alcohol at home.
