The Met Office has told Brits to 'dig out their winter coats' this March as temperatures are expected to plummet following some mild, spring-like weather.

Forecasters from the Met Office have issued a warning for Brits to 'dig out' their cosy coats once again as temperatures are set to fall once again.

The Met Office wrote on X : "Temperatures have been above average today, but come this time tomorrow temperatures will be a good 3 to 6 Celsius lower for many. You may need to dig out the winter coat for tomorrow and into the weekend as the northwesterly wind will make it feel colder than the thermometer suggests."

The long-range weather forecast for the UK states that conditions will remained "unsettled" for the majority of the country throughout next week with "spells of rain or showers for most".
