The Met Office issued a string of warnings earlier this week - one of which has now been extended to last until the early hours of Friday morning.
People in certain Scots areas have been warned that a period of prolonged and heavy rainfall could now last even longer than anticipated, with the risk of flooding still rife.
However, this has now been extended to last until the early hours of Friday morning, and although the warning area has been cut down, people are still being urged to stay aware of the risks. The warning area has also been reduced to focus more on southern Scotland as well as the east and west coasts.
