A picturesque Scottish beach has been named as the top hidden gem in the country for a summer road trip, with a breathtaking waterfall following in second place.
Berneray West Beach is a picturesque destination in the Outer Hebrides. With fewer than 100 posts on Instagram and TikTok combined, it is an ideal escape for those looking to avoid the usual tourist hotspots.
Boasting expansive sand dunes and crystal clear waters, Berneray can be accessed from the Scottish mainland by ferry. On the island, visitors can park at the car park past Berneray Village Hall and stroll down to the peaceful beach. Meanwhile, Scotland also claimed the second spot on Hippo Leasing's list. Following behind Berneray West Beach is the Eas a'Bhradain waterfall on the Isle of Skye.
Elsewhere on the list, there are destinations in England, Wales, and Northern Ireland. Rounding out the top five are Blackslee Waterfall in Enniskillen, Holme Force in the Lake District, and Wild Pear Beach in Devon.
