The Times has revealed a list of 'five of the best seafood restaurants in Scotland', including eateries in Glasgow and Ullapool that serve up mouthwatering fish.
If there is one cuisine Scotland is known for, it is our seafood. With countless restaurants all around the country serving up everything from fish and chips to mussels, it can be difficult to know which ones are worth a visit.
One of the seafood spots singled out by The Times is Crabshakk Botanics in Glasgow. Praised by the newspaper for its "large and spacious" interior, the venue is the sister location of the popular Crabshakk restaurant in the city's Finnieston neighbourhood. Crabshakk Botanics is also popular amongst visitors for its drinks menu, with its cocktails being a particular standout. Among the concoctions on offer are Seaweed White Negronis with gin and seaweed liqueur and Dulce Daiquiris that feature white rum and grapefruit.
