Conroy Lindsay, dubbed 'Scotland's King of Bling', was caught after Falkirk Council trading standards officers investigated
A bogus designer goods salesman was jailed for 15 months after his bedroom wardrobe was found stuffed with luxury watches, sunglasses, clothing and aftershave that would have been worth more than £650,000 if they hadn't been Chinese counterfeits.
Prosecutor Kristina Kelly said all the goods were counterfeits. Lindsay also admitted sell bogus designer goods labelled Louis Vuitton and Tag Heur. The court heard he had a previous Trade Marks Act conviction - for selling counterfeit DVDs - but has no other matters outstanding. He said Lindsay had made a profit of about £50 on a counterfeit watch. He added that Lindsay expressed "genuine remorse".
