There have been some changes in the most popular baby names in Scotland with a girl's name returning to the top of the list for the first time in three years.
The most popular baby names in Scotland in 2023 have been revealed with a name in the boys category knocked out of the top three for the first time in 27 years.

Freya remains the third most popular girls’ name.
New entrants in the top 100 names include Oakley, which rose 64 places to 87th and Mabel, which leapt 102 places to joint 93rd.
