Saturday May 11 will be a fine, dry and warm picture for many - but an area of low pressure set to creep in on Sunday paints a more unsettled picture.
Many Scots are in for a very warm and sunny Saturday this weekend with temperatures peaking in the low 20s - before things potentially take a turn for the worst the following day.
This week has seen temperatures across the UK gradually increase and it looks as though the beginning of the weekend will be no different. For those planning on spending time outdoors, the UV levels are also set to creep up, so it's important to take the right precautions and wear sun protection in order to keep safe from the rays.
The pro explained that there's still some uncertainty about the timings of these downpours, but an increase in cloud cover will make the west coast feel less warm than previous days. Aviemore is still set to see the highest temperatures at 21C, with the mercury peaking in the high teens widely across the rest of the country.
