The Met Office have warned that high winds are likely to cause travel disruption in affected areas.

The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for north-east Scotland as strong winds up to 60mph are set to batter this country.

The warning has been put in place from Tuesday at 09:30 until 18:00 this evening with conditions set to slowly ease later this afternoon. It's been warned that the wind is likely to cause some travel disruption on the roads and to expect longer journey times on public transport.
