Glasgow train services have been cancelled after an issue.
ScotRail has said services between Glasgow and Edinburgh via Shotts will be axed this morning due to flooding on the line.
The travel company says the route is currently closed and Network Rail staff are on-site trying to resolve the issue.Meanwhile, services from Glasgow Central to Edinburgh will stop at Carfin.A spokesperson for ScotRail said:"Due to flooding on the line, services between Glasgow and Edinburgh via Shotts will be cancelled this morning.A Network Rail spokesperson added:"Due to reports of flooding on the line, the route via Shotts will be closed this morning.
"Staff will be on-site to monitor the situation closely and once we have a further update from teams on the ground." Meanwhile, ScotRail has also said speeding restrictions have been put in place on some routes due to heavy rain.NEW: Due to flooding on the line, services between Glasgow and Edinburgh via Shotts will be cancelled this morning.
