Little Hope weighed just 2lbs 1oz and has spent the first 94 days of her life in an ICU neonatal unit.
A Stirling baby born almost four months early during a seaside break in Blackpool has finally come home for the very first time three months after she arrived.
In August, the family were delighted to be able to travel back to Scotland, with Hope, mum Jenna and big brother Vinnie being flown back to Scotland – more than two months ahead of schedule – in a private plane run by charity Lia’s Wings.Jenna, a stay-at-home mum, is originally from Deanston, whilst Gary, who runs his own construction firm, hails from Callander.
The growing tot now weighs 7lb 1oz as she continues to recuperate at home, under the watchful eye of loving big brother Vinnie. A whopping £6,320 was raised to cover their costs whilst they waited for Hope to fight back to fitness. Dad Gary previously told the Observer that the family had taken to living in a caravan, at a site around 20 minutes from the hospital.
