Connor Sword changed his name to Connor Anderson after being convicted of having indecent images of children.
A scientist changed his identity and went to ground to dodge police checks after being convicted of having child abuse images.
However, Sword returned to the dock at Perth Sheriff Court to admit failing to notify the police that he had changed his name to Connor Anderson. Sheriff William Gilchrist imposed a further two year supervision order and made Sword subject to a conduct requirement after he admitted the new offences. Solicitor Jamie Baxter told the court: "He was at a very low point in his life. He made a number of inappropriate searches on his computer which led to the material being obtained.
