Police say there are 'concerns' for his welfare
Police in Cumbernauld have launched a public appeal for information after a 24-year-old man went missing earlier today.
Austin Wiliamson-Gardner was last seen at around 4.10pm on Thursday, March 23 in the area of Mitchell Road in the North Lanarkshire town. He has not been seen since – and despite his disappearance only being reported a matter of hours ago police say there are "concerns" for his welfare. Williamson-Gardner is described as around 5ft 10ins in height, of slim build, with shaggy, fair-coloured hair. When last seen he was wearing burgundy trousers and a navy parka-style jacket with a fur hood.
Officers have asked members of the public who have any information on his whereabouts to get in contact as soon as possible. Constable Sharlene Meldrum, of Cumbernauld Police Station, said: “Concerns are growing for Austin’s welfare and we want to make sure he is safe and well.Top news stories today Anyone who can assist is asked to call Police Scotland on 101, quoting reference number 2411 of Thursday, 23 March, 2023.Read next:
