David Stewart, from Auchterarder, says he's missed out on precious memories with his children after losing his leg after the collision.
A Scots dad has told how a foot he lost in a horror crash after being hit at 100mph by reckless driver has never been recovered.
David said: “The car that hit me was travelling at around 100 mph. The driver was trying to overtake five cars. My foot was severed and was never recovered from the scene. “I do feel lucky to be alive after the crash - especially with all the injuries I suffered. I had 13 compound fractures, a broken pelvis and my elbow joint was completely shattered.“Every single day the leg socket rubs against my skin. This makes it unbearably painful to stand up, sit down, drive, and walk.
